i ;ve come home for the week & it has been so lovely to breathe and bake and feel soft ground underneath, little sleep as usual but there is nothing i love more than the countryside,=sitting on the windowsill at 3 o'clock in the morning and seeing misty dew kissing the fields and nothing but bird talk and wind whispers

so much walking too, i walk all the time in london but this is wandering not moving from one point to another and ooooooooooaaaaaaahhhhh it feels like everything is seeping into my skin the air sunlight trees streams

made little cakes with yoghurt and lemon and little cakes with chocolate and cherries maybe i will give you the recipes
it's lovely to rediscover things/realise that there,s probably more beautiful things than horrible things but i don't like flipping through the pages of my journal and seeing lists and "i wish/want to do this" and i haven,t haven,t haven,t, mayyyyyybe do them slowly instead of scary lists telling me NOW

remembering honey and hedgehogs and milkshakes and birdcages with no birds inside and ribbons round my neck and cocoa butter and the names of constellations and snowdrops and it,s okay to go to bed early and pressing index fingers together and spriiiiiiiiiing

oh and here's the real alice in wonderland
